This mod changes the RPM light from the default solid red to the flag of your choice. There’s no functionality difference, just visual as they rev and act the same.

**Due to the RPM light’s small size (64×16 pixels) and the intricate details in many state flags, some swaps may appear clearer than others. Flags with subtle color contrasts (like yellow on white) or complex elements (crests and text) are difficult to scale down effectively. (also note that these screenshots are incredibly magnified, the swap will look higher fidelity when loaded into the game)

**I’ve included the original game RPM light in the download so you can revert to that without verifying game files if you wish. That folder is named ” Original Game UI”

INSTALLATION (Steam):

1. Open the folder version you want to mod into the game (you’ll see the “Steam” folder).

2. Navigate to where your Steam is installed (likely C/Program Files (x86)) and drag the “Steam” folder into that folder. Replace the files in Destination.

3. Load a track and enjoy!

INSTALLATION (Standalone): 

1. Open the folder you want to use until you see “misc.pkz”.
2. Navigate to your MX bikes install location.
3. Drag the “misc.pkz” to the same location as the game’s “misc.pkz” version. Replace.
4. Load a track and enjoy!

ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION (method involves opening more folders to reach the “misc.pkz” file): works for Steam and Standalone install locations.

1. Navigate to your MX Bikes install location. (You will see the game’s original “misc.pkz“).
2. Open the folder containing the flag you want to input until you see “misc.pkz”.
3. Drag the “misc.pkz” from your downloaded folder into the game folder to replace the original. Replace the files in Destination.
4. Load a track and enjoy!

TO REVERT TO ORIGINAL UI:

FOLLOW THE STEPS ABOVE WITH THE “Original Game UI” FOLDER.

OR VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES ON STEAM TO RETRIEVE ORIGINAL UI.
