The Moon Hole by J-PRING (My 1st Track)

Description

WELCOME TO

THE MOON HOLE

by J-PRING

Yes, that’s right! We are going to the MOON!
Here at SPACE MX we like to go big or go even bigger, and that’s why we need you! A test subjec *coughing*…a “Thrill Seeker!”  Destined to push the limits of what is possible! The track is located inside a 400m wide crater with features designed to test your skills and our new line of astronaut diapers (we expect you’ll “go big”). The locals have no understanding of what makes a good MX track but their services proved invaluable for the construction. This was their first go at it so you might see a few things that aren’t quite up to our standards here on earth.

Race Starts as soon as we land, watch your step, it’s a 130ft drop to the surface!

This track includes a 20-30 min enduro track that weaves its way around the crater. It starts (Green) near the center of the crater, simply follow the colored markers along the paths, changing colors as you pass different “Follow” signs indicating which color you need to follow next until you are back to the start.

THE TOWER CHALLENGE!!!

GOAL: Reach the top!
RULES:
Easy Mode – You can set track markers only on the red platforms and you can only walk backwards on the obstacles.
Impossible Mode – No resets, can only walk backwards on obstacles.

Author Notes:

Hello wonderful people! Thank you for checking out my track! This is a pretty massive accomplishment for myself 🙂 it is my first track and my first time making something for a videogame. After working on this track off and on for over 2 years, learning how everything works and a lot about how things don’t work 😛 I am proud to present to you my creation!!!

When I started this project with about 40 hours of playtime in MX bikes, I sucked at the game and hardly knew anything about track construction or how to make a good MX track. My first intention was to make an Enduro MX hybrid, a track that would push my skills at the time and make me better at the game. I’m now at 280 hours in game from almost exclusively testing this track (and having a blast doing it) and as my skills in the game got better so did my track building. I have learned a lot about what goes into making these tracks and there’s definitely a lot I would change but given that I’ve been working on this track for so long, I need to just get it out into the public and start working on the next track 😀

I made all my own assets for the track. The only things I didn’t make are the Company and Manufacturer Logos on the signs. I knew I wanted to have a crazy start to the track, something people haven’t seen before. My first thought was to have a dropship in the sky that the riders jump out of. I didn’t even know if this would be possible but after some testing I knew I could do it. I’m a fan of rockets and after seeing the development of Starship by SpaceX and their crazy tower catching concept, I had to make something inspired by it.
Overall I’m very happy with how everything turned out, it’s not perfect but I will just have to accept that 😛

As this is my first track I’m releasing it FOR FREE!!!! I want everyone to be able to enjoy this track and If you did enjoy it, please consider donating so I can buy sandwiches and make more tracks <3
